You likely don't need me to tell you this, but you are the best expert on yourself. Don't let anyone tell you what or who you are or what you supposedly feel deep down. You are the only person with full, unrestricted access to your own thoughts & feelings. You know who you are & who you are not. It's unfortunate you deal with people commonly trying to tell you who you are/aren't or how you supposedly feel just because it doesn't align with their perspective. People have a hard time with the unknown & struggle to let it be; I hope you know what makes you up as a person whether "problematic" or not is inherently art, as it would be with anyone. I can't speak for personal things, because I don't know you & you don't know me, but I can definitely tell you that you know who you are & that is always good enough.
